Job Overview: The Key Account Management Role at SMX Global oversees the key account, ensuring the retention and growth of client accounts. This role involves strategic account planning, team leadership, and high-level client relationship management.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Account Management:

Develop strategies for maintaining and growing client accounts.
Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling.
Client Relationship Management:
Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships.
Understand client needs and provide tailored solutions.

Team Leadership:

Lead and mentor the Key Account Management team, setting objectives and evaluating performance.
Manage resource allocation and team workload.

Project Oversight:

Ensure the successful execution of client projects, maintaining high-quality standards.
Coordinate with other departments for seamless project delivery.

Performance Analysis:

Monitor and analyse account performance, implementing strategies to increase profitability.

Day to Day TASK

Strategic Account Planning:

Develop and implement account management strategies to retain and grow client accounts.
Identify long-term goals and objectives for each client.

Client Relationship Building:

Lead key client meetings and build strong, lasting relationships.
Understand client business needs and provide strategic guidance.

Team Oversight and Development:

Key account managers depending on workload, might not necessarily lead a team. They are require to work independently with the support of other Business Units and departments.
Manage and mentor AM Executives, setting goals and monitoring performance.
Conduct performance reviews and provide training opportunities.

Project Oversight:

Oversee the execution of client projects, ensuring high-quality delivery.
Monitor project timelines and budgets.

Account Growth and Retention:

Analyze account performance and identify opportunities for growth.
Develop and propose new services or solutions to clients.

Conflict Resolution:

Handle and resolve complex client issues or escalations.
Negotiate solutions that align with both client expectations and company capabilities.

Reporting and Analysis:

Provide regular reports on account status, growth, and retention to senior management.
Analyze client feedback and market trends to inform account strategies.

Budget Management:

Manage the budget for client accounts and projects.
Ensure profitability and cost-efficiency in account management activities.

Cross-Departmental Coordination:

Liaise with other departments (such as BD, marketing, production) to ensure a cohesive approach to client service.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
Significant experience in account management, preferably in marketing or advertising.
Proven ability to lead a team and manage client relationships.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and strategic thinking skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM3,500.00 - RM6,000.00 per month
