Kersen Group has invested more than USD 30 million in establishing 2 manufacturing facilities in Johor, Malaysia in offering metals and plastics solutions with anodizing and painting finishes.

Such products are high-precision components to be sold to customers for Computers, Communication devices, and Consumer Electronics (“3C”) segments.

Products to be manufactured are currently planned to be sold to companies located in Malaysia through joint design collaborations.

Such products may also be exported and sold to customers located in other parts of the world.

As an original component manufacturer, the expected value-add is between 30% and 60% depending on the product type.

To mitigate technical and supply chain challenges, there will be situation whereby raw materials would be sourced overseas from existing sources for continuity in ensuring production in Malaysia will not be disrupted.

Purchase of raw materials locally would be phased in sequentially when the manufacturing processes have stabilised and local sources are validated in meeting product specifications.
