About SAGE Publications Asia-Pacific Pte Ltd

SAGE Asia-Pacific Pte Ltd is a division of the global SAGE publishing group, with headquarters in Singapore to where the Malaysian office reports.

SAGE is a publisher with more than 40 years’ experience in academic books and journals. Books are published predominantly from the UK and US headquarters, but sell across all regions of the world. Of our 700 new books published each year, 200 are in the education field (specifically for teacher training and professional development), 100 are Reference titles aimed at our core academic library market and the remaining 400 include textbooks from 10 social science disciplines.

SAGE employs close to 1000 staff globally. The Singapore HQ employ 12 staff - including one Book Sales Director based in Kuala Lumpur.

 

SAGE was founded by Sara Miller McCune in 1975, in the USA. Today the company remains independantly owned, with offices in California, Washington, London , Delhi, Singapore, Malaysia, Japan and China.

Sage opened it's Asia-Pacific sales and marketing offices in September 2006.
