Founded in 1991, Royalton established itself as a quality manufacturer in the specialised coating industry. Royalton entered several license agreements with reputable and world renowned coating manufacturers to expand and develop its range of specialised coatings in different sectors of the industry. Its first collaboration was with Granyte Surface Coatings Plc, a wholly owned subsidiary of Mcleod Russel – a public listed coating company in the UK with over 140 years of wood finishing experience which enabled Royalton to acquire the latest technology in the wood coating industry. Thereafter, Royalton partnered with Ameron International Corporation for its second license agreement. Ameron is reputed for its Protective and Marine Coating, with a strong presence in Malaysia for over 40 years. With the company’s commitment to continually innovate and develop its product and services, Royalton was awarded the ISO 9001-2000 certification in 2000. In 2009, the Royalton Group acquired Berger International Sdn Bhd., which comes with over 260 years of development and innovation in the coating industry.
