Primary Responsibilities

1. Provide adequate guidance to the team in order to carry out daily/ monthly accounting function including data entries in accounting system covering AP/AR, cash book, GL and bank reconciliations to keep records up to date

2. Review and checking of all payments, receipts and maintenance of the books using accounting software, including issuing cheques, invoices, statements to ensure disbursement policies is complied

3. To understand the operation of finance functions, provide solutions to resolve operational issues and improve the finance functions, ensure compliance of policies and procedures set:

4. Review monthly financial statement including income statements, balance sheet and supporting notes to the balance sheet

5. Preparation or review of monthly tax provision numbers, preparation or review of annual tax estimates and 9 months tax revision

6. Comply with tax filling requirement by studying tax regulation and keeping update with the latest national budget development

7. Responsible for monitoring and projection of cash flow requirements, treasury functions and liaison with bankers where necessary

8. Assist with the preparation of budget, monitoring of actual vs. budget and highlight the significant discrepancies

9. To ensure the team maintain proper filling of financial related files or documents (electronic or hard copy) and records to ensure smooth retrieval of documents when it is required

10. Assist in the preparation of quarterly financial report, preparation of annual report for the holding company (OEB) and drafting of subsidiaries audited financial statement during year-end audit

11. Liaison with external auditor, internal auditor and tax agents on annual audit and tax matters

12. Ensure timely submission of all financial related report – audited financial statement, annual tax return, SST returns and data required by national statistic department

13. Liaison with bankers, government agencies and other relevant authorities for finance related matters

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM4,000.00 - RM4,800.00 per month
