Nam Bee is one of Malaysia's leading and pioneering firms in the manufacture of rubber compounds.
Nam Bee was originally founded in 1938 by the late Tan Kok Cheng. The word "Nam Bee" literally translated in Chinese means "south beautiful". The late Tan Kok Cheng, being from the province of Fujian, China, migrated south to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia in 1930 and thought his new home was very beautiful.
Today, Nam Bee Rubber & Tyre Group production facilities is close to 10 acres in size, with a build up of over 250,000 square feet, and has a combined workforce of over 250 people nationwide.
On 4th August 2005, our entire Nam Bee Rubber & Tyre Group attained ISO 9001:2008 certification through Lloyd's Register, covering "compounding, retreading and servicing of tyres".
