Ex-Employee, years in the role"A continuously evolving pet company"
We offer customers the products they need, including the best food and supplies for pets. Each branch also has pet consultants available to assist customers with inquiries, ensuring that pets receive the best care and service. This pet company is constantly improving and has expanded to other countries with chain stores.

The colleagues were amiable and supportive. The salary is satisfactory. The pace of work varies, with some days being slower than others, depending on the location and the volume of customers.

Ex-Employee, years in the role"Highly compensated with limited personal time"
The retail assistant is required to work 12-hour shifts, with any extra hours considered overtime. While the pay for overtime is good, there is little choice but to work these long hours. Despite being promised two off days per week, some employees end up working up to nine days in a row due to short-staffing. Good workers are often expected to take on extra shifts, leading to a robotic work routine. Requesting leave requires approval from a supervisor a month in advance, and it is often not granted. At the end of the year, accumulated annual leave may be converted into 'applied leave' in December. The company pays well and handles overtime payments efficiently, but work-life balance is difficult to achieve in this environment. The overall atmosphere with coworkers is fine, but the demanding schedule can be overwhelming.

Ex-Employee, years in the role"Exciting but lacking worklife balance"
I enjoyed my time at this job, particularly because of the wonderful colleagues and supervisor. Unfortunately, despite being a part-time employee, I was often scheduled for more hours than I could handle. The company was short-staffed, which led to me feeling overwhelmed and ultimately deciding to leave. The pay for part-time work was decent, but I did not receive any benefits.
