About PERSATUAN PENGURUSAN KOMPLEKS MALAYSIA (PPK)

The Malaysia Shopping Malls Association, popularly known as PPK, (which is the Bahasa Malaysia acronym for Persatuan Pengurusan Kompleks Malaysia) has been playing an important role as a professional partner contributing to the nation's phenomenal growth. PPK (M) was formed in 1984, during the most significant stage of Malaysia's leap into quantum growth.

Since then, PPK (M) has now evolved into a predominant role in growth as professionals in the shopping management discipline with members primarily from shopping malls.

The management of shopping malls involves the following functions:

Regional Representation

PPK (M) is one of the founder members of the Council of Asian Shopping Centres (CASC) which comprises of shopping mall associations from Malaysia, Indonesia, Hong Kong, China,Taiwan and Japan with affiliates from Thailand, Philippines and Singapore. CASC was established in 2004 with the principal objectives of improving multi-lateral relations and networking of shopping centres in the Asian region and regional conferences are organized in member countries annually for information sharing and education.
