Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Production Engineer at Natural Oleochemicals Sdn Bhd (A Member of Wilmar International Group of Companies) in Pasir Gudang.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering (or related field).
1–3 years of experience in oleochemical/fats & oils manufacturing preferred.
Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
Strong understanding of oleochemical production processes, equipment, and safety protocols.
Experience with process optimization and quality control.
Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
Proficiency in MS Office.
Knowledge in SAP will be an added advantage.

Job Responsibilities

Monitor, analyze, and optimize production processes to maximize efficiency and reduce downtime.
Implement process improvements and best practices in manufacturing.
Troubleshoot production issues and provide technical support to operations teams.
Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards.
Coordinate with R&D and QA teams for new product trials and process upgrades.
Prepare and maintain production reports, SOPs, and documentation.
Train and mentor production staff on technical processes and safety protocols.
