About Messrs Chan Leong & Co

 

Our firm specializes and is actively involved in civil litigation matters especially construction-related cases or disputes.  Such preference is largely attributed to the background and experience of our lawyers.

 

During his years of service as a Federal Counsel, our lead lawyer had gained vast experience in various aspect of legal discipline such as administrative and constitutional law, industrial relations and trade disputes, land acquisition, election petition, tort action against government such as defamation, assault and battery, medical negligence, malicious prosecution, road accident cases etc.  In the course of carrying out his duty, our lead lawyer had also given lectures and seminars to various governmental departments such as the Police Departments, Royal Customs and Excise, Institut Penilaian Malaysia and others.

 

After his resignation from the Judicial and Legal Service, our lead lawyer had joined Messrs. Low Hop Bing, Koh Kong & Associates as a legal assistant and was primarily responsible for the running of the Kuala Lumpur branch office until September 1996 when he joined Messrs. Ching, Tan & Associates as a partner.

 

While in private practice, our lead lawyer had specialized in civil litigation such as construction claim, company winding-up, bankruptcy proceedings, matrimonial proceedings, land acquisition, contractual claim and other general litigation.

 

Commencing the 1st day of January 1998, our lead lawyer had established this firm.
