About Mandarin Opto-medic Sdn Bhd

Mandarin Optical Co, established in 1967, primarily traded in frames and lenses. In the following years, the company was propelled by Singapore’s fast-booming market and rapidly advancing economic growth, leading to an expanded business model that included ophthalmic and ophthalmological instruments.

Incorporated in 1977 as Mandarin Optical Co Pte Ltd, the company continued its successful expansion across the Asian market, resulting in subsidiary companies in Malaysia, Indonesia, and the Philippines. Consequently, in 1986, the company was renamed Mandarin Opto-Medic Co Pte Ltd.
