About Malaysian Investor Relations Associations

Sponsored by Bursa Malaysia and funded by the Capital Market Development Fund (“CMDF”), MIRA is Malaysia’s first and only professional association established with a commitment to develop and advance the status and integrity of IR Professionals and the proficiency of its members in the field of IR. It is the only professional association that promotes the views of IR and Malaysian IR Professionals among the PLCs, to the investment community, regulatory bodies and government. MIRA was established in 2007 and its membership comprises public-listed companies, investment banks, brokerages and intermediaries as well as IR service providers.MIRA offers, under the sponsorship of Bursa Malaysia, an IR Incentive Program, fully subsidised by CMDF, that helps public-listed companies set up their internal IR program and get better exposure through IR.MIRA also offers Certificates in IR examinations, in association with the Investor Relations Society of the United Kingdom, for professional qualification of IR practitioners in Malaysia.
