About Maahad Tahfiz Al-Akhyar

Integrated Islamic School covering from Primary to Secondary levels.

We have two tracks Islamic and Academic.  Our Islamic track covers Al-Quran and Al-Hadith and our Academic follows the Malaysia National Syllabus.

 

Brief History

Abu Ubaidah Kemin dreamed of a school for Muslim children based on the most excellent educational methods. Akhyar was incorporated as a non-profit on February 24, 1999 and opened in the town center of Johor Bahru and was chosen for its central location and the potential of extending influence within the surrounding neighborhood. The vision of the founders has resulted in a child-centered school with an integrated curriculum where each child is encouraged to reach his/her potential as Muslim.
