Company’s ProfileEstablished in 1966, Jack’s Place is one of Singapore’s most successful home-grown chain of steak house and restaurants. It started when Mr Say Lip Hai arrived in Singapore from Hainan Island and started as a cook-boy with the British troops in Sembawang learning how to prepare the perfect roast beef and Yorkshire Pudding. He later took over a restaurant in Killiney Road owned by Englishman, Mr Jack Hut.Jack’s Place has today developed into a successful enterprise comprising subsidiaries and businesses under the wing of its parent company, Jack’s Place Holdings Pte Ltd.Jack’s Place Holdings operates from its headquarters, Jack’s Place Building. The four-storey building, located at Defu Lane 10, has a total area size of approximately 2,334 square metres. Located within this self-contained headquarters are the management, administrative, human resource and training, accounting, marketing and advertising and purchasing departments. The building is also the nerve centre of the Jack’s Place food-processing operations, the central kitchen, butchery and bakery sections.Jack’s Place has grown from single restaurant to 12 outlets in Singapore and 2 outlets in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. We have diversified our product and launched 2 new brands – Seafood Harvest and Eatzi Gourmet. Seafood Harvest is a Asian fusion Western seafood restaurant.Eatzi Gourmet is a halal subsidiary that comprises of 3 divisions – Catering, Steakhouse & Bistro (2 outlets) and Bakery.
