In support to address unemployment, enhancing employability and stimulate domestic recovery, Minister of Finance (MoF) introduced the Malaysia Short Term Programme and JaminKerja under Belanjawan 2022.

The Programme is aim to provide job opportunities in both provate sector and in government bodies and agencies, focused in areas of high demand in industry.

PERANTIS by EduCity Iskandar was modelled from Germany’s Apprenticeship programme, designed to meet the industry’s demands and needs via upskilling initiatives.

Guided by the vision to FAST FORWARD YOUR CAREER, PERANTIS is part of EduCity’s contribution to support the country’s effort to ensure our youth are employed to the RIGHT INDUSTRIES with the RIGHT SALARY.

This dream was made possible when our holding company, EduCity Iskandar Malaysia Sdn Bhd, was awarded a fund via Iskandar Regional Development Authority. The allocated fund of RM5 million was approved on 17th March 2021 by the Ministry of Finance under the PENJANA initiatives. Now PERANTIS is ready to look for highly passionate apprentices.

This programme is currently on track as PERANTIS already secured several reputable local and international corporate companies and agencies as industry partners who will be offering new positions to successful apprentice.

Memperkenalkan PERANTIS ISKANDAR, sebuah program pembangunan modal insan yang menyokong inisiatif kerajaan Malaysia dalam usaha memulihkan ekonomi dengan memperkasa golongan belia.

Program PERANTIS ISKANDAR oleh EduCity Iskandar diilhamkan oleh model program perantisan dari negara Jerman, sebuah program lengkap untuk memenuhi permintaan dan keperluan industri melalui inisiatif peningkatan kemahiran (‘upskilling’).

Berpandukan visi Fast Forward Your Career, PERANTIS ISKANDAR adalah sebahagian daripada sumbangan EduCity Iskandar untuk menyokong usaha kerajaan Malaysia dalam memastikan golongan belia mendapat peluang perkerjaan di dalam INDUSTRI yang sesuai, dengan GAJI yang berpatutan.

Usaha murni ini tercapai apabila Kementerian Kewangan telah menganugerahkan dana sebanyak RM5 juta di bawah inisiatif program PENJANA, melalui Pihak Berkuasa Wilayah Iskandar (IRDA) pada 17 Mac 2021 untuk menjayakan program ini.

Kini PERANTIS ISKANDAR bersedia untuk melaksanakan program ini dengan kolaborasi dan sokongan syarikat dan agensi korporat tempatan dan antarabangsa bagi memastikan para perantis berjaya akan diberi tawaran pekerjaan, selepas tamat sesi latihan industri.
