About Heap Sing Huat Metals & Machinery Sdn Bhd

Heap Sing Huat Metals & Machinery Sdn Bhd stocks and distributes stainless steel, aluminium, copper, brass, phosphor bronze and engineering plastics in various forms. We source from reliable producers worldwide, import, stock and supply to the local market. To complement our product offerings, we offer processing services which include cut to length, cut to size and slitting for flat products and drawing and grinding for long products.

We started in 1950 when our company was founded as a scrap dealer. As market conditions changed, we pivoted to importing machineries and materials such as stainless steel, aluminum, copper, brass, phosphor bronze and engineering plastics to sell in the local market. In the late 1970's we became a major distributor for Aluminum Company of Malaysia (ALCOM) for aluminum products and Nippon Yakin Kogyo of Japan for stainless steel products.

After many years working out of a couple of shop lots in Prangin Lane, Georgetown, we eventually built our own warehouse in Prai in 1992, at which we are still operating until today. Around this period, we set up two sister companies, one of which specialises in cold drawing of bars and the other a service centre for flat products.

Since then, we have continued to grow and today we are distributing metals nationwide across multiple industries, such as engineering, food, semiconductor, wood, among others. We are constantly evolving to meet new demands of the market and are striving towards increasing our range of products and services and reducing our costs to provide better and more competitive services to our valued customers.
