About Federal Cooperative Organizers of the Philippines Inc.

We, the Federal Cooperative Organizers of the Philippines Inc. is a duly registered non-stock corporation with the Securities and Exchange Commission with Company Registration No. CN*****5290 duly approved primarily for the purpose of promoting, encouraging, campaigning and advocating cooperativism and entrepreneurship to reduce the incidence of poverty in the Philippines.
We believe that change must start from our youth. The youth is now in crisis. Only 14% of our youth enters the professional workforce. 16% struggles to become skilled workers. 70% who could not finish elementary and high school becomes unemployed. 10% are hooked to illegal drugs, either as an abuser or trader. Now they fear that due to K+12 the minimum educational requirement will be at least 2nd year college. Their only hope is to go abroad. We want to help them have hope in the Philippines.
What are the alternatives the society could offer them? Youth-Owned Enterprise or Cooperative is a viable alternative to this social problem. The youth must know that they have an alternative to become employment generators and not only become employment seekers. By means of establishing their own Barangay Youth-Owned Enterprise or Cooperative they will now have hope in the motto: “Sa ikauunlad ng bayan, negosyo o kooperatiba ang kailangan.”
