The Early Child Care and Education Council (ECCE Council) was established on 30 December 2010 to act as a link between the ECCE industry and the Government, and to professionalize and assure quality control of the ECCE industry. Programmes and events organized by the ECCE Council include annual National ECCE week, conferences, forums, roundtable discussion workshops and seminars related to early childhood care and education, in particular pertaining to professionalism and quality standards of child care, preschool education and training.
