Lead a team of M&E Services Coordinators / BIM Modellers in BIM implementation, standards, modelling workflows, and methodologies.
Develop, maintain, and update the BIM Execution Plan (BEP) for assigned projects.
Oversee BIM deliverables progress and ensure proper implementation processes across the contract.
Attend and chair technical meetings with Clients, Consultants, and Contractors, liaising closely with the Project Manager on BIM implementation based on project needs and requirements.
Oversee and manage BIM projects from start to finish.
Coordinate and collaborate with all stakeholders (contract, interfacing contracts’ BIM Managers/Coordinators/Modellers) to meet deliverables submission and information exchange schedules.
Conduct ongoing review of BIM project models, workflows, and methodologies to ensure compliance.
Establish, implement, and facilitate clash detection analysis to identify, resolve, and validate all design and construction conflicts, including preparing a clash detection matrix and 3D coordination schedule.
Prepare, maintain, and update clash detection resolution and validation reports, ensuring all conflicts are resolved and rectified.
Ensure accuracy of models/drawings based on BIM standards and workflow criteria/checklists.
Guarantee all models are compatible and BIM data is accessible to all project participants.
Ensure timely completion of all BIM-related productions and submissions.
Support the Project Team in managing RFIs (Requests for Information) and preparing BIM model presentations or related activities.
Supervise Modellers / Technical Coordinators and assist in preparing drawings.
Update, manage, monitor, and track all model change records.
Provide internal BIM consultancy for ongoing projects.
Manage processes, best practices, and techniques related to BIM implementation and tools.
Establish conventions for reviewing BIM models and associated deliverables.
Monitor the progress of BIM modelling, coordination, design, and submissions to ensure alignment with the planned schedule.
