""DI"" stands for Digital Imaging, the term given to the technology utilised in our Heideberg SM74-DI. It represents the very best in computer-to-press technology which allows for the transfer of images from a computer directly onto a termal plate via laser heads mounted on each printing unit. This eliminates time-consuming film output and plate masking as seen in conventional printing. Imaging is done simultaneously on all printing units as well. The results? A competitive edge provided to our clients by our fast setup and changeover.

The laser heads on our press produce close to zero dot gain images, allowing the press to print up to 225 lines per inch, resulting in stunning clarity and superfine images.

Even more impressive is our CtP, achieving detail of up to 340 lines per inch in plate-making. It is again, evidence of our determination to stay up-to-date with the latest technology.

Our press contains 5 laser printing units. perfecting and in-built coating unit. This is fully supported by a comprehensive pre-press setup, completing the workflow as illustrated in the following pages. Our manpower are also selected for their dedication and skill in colour separation/repro, preflight and press operations.
