Security Elevate, which is our core offering is an information security awareness and behaviour management solution innovated by a group of security experts from CI. Being involved in information security training and consulting for more than 12 years, we noticed that there is more to security awareness programs than just computer-based training and phishing assessments (and not to mention the not-so-effective-at-all classroom based awareness trainings). Most importantly we believe that the primary goal of a security awareness program should be creating behavior change and that is exactly what we intend to do.

 

Whenever we ask a room full of security professionals, “how many of you here think that users are the biggest problem in your day-to-day security job?”, we get more than 90% of them raising their hands in approval but when we ask them what are they doing about it we get pin-drop silence. While not all security incidents and breaches are preventable, many are. When technology solutions reach their limitations, adequate and on-going information security awareness and behaviour management becomes an important part of improving an organization’s overall information security posture.  Yes, at Security Elevate we see that the human layer as the first line of defense and it is possible to build and nurture it towards buidling a security smart workforce which will essentially protect the information and business.
