About Coalition To Abolish Modern-Day Slavery In Asia
CAMSA is an international coalition of non-governmental organizations collaboratively working to combat human trafficking in Asia. Leveraging the coalition member’s collective expertise in the transnational crime of human trafficking, its partner members have built a network with operations in the United States of America, Canada, Germany, Malaysia, Taiwan and Thailand. CAMSA-Malaysia’s objectives for 2012-2013 will be:
- Build a national team with expertise in advocacy, mass education, and victim protection especially working with migrant Vietnamese workers and Vietnamese victims of trafficking
- Establish comprehensive case management as standard for victim services;
- Expand operation to cover federal, state and cross-national levels; and
- Achieve self-sustainability for CAMSA operation in Malaysia.
