Verifone Sdn Bhd handles the personalization services. Once cards are produced, Verifone handles customization and packaging for the cards. With special embossing and packing machines at our site, Verifone can emboss, print, insert scratch panel, encode smart card, as well as package cards into envelopes. These tasks are the final steps that make VeriCardSys Group a one-stop shop for businesses looking for a complete card based solution. We also sell related readers to complement card reading like smart card reader (contact and contactless), magnetic-stripe reader and barcode reader. We customize software for card issuance and personalization including magnetic stripe and smart card personalization.

We also develop applications for updating information in cards in a secure manner. We provide software solutions for the following card based businesses: telecommunications, payphones and GSM cards, banking, insurance, electronic purse, loyalty program, medical, identification, access control, transportation, parking, and toll. In congruent with smart card convergence in Malaysia, we also involve in providing smart card solution and terminals including MyKad based solution. Early 2006, we marked another achievement by taking over distributorship of payment terminals under the brand name Ingenico. Ingenico is a leading payment terminal provider in the world. In this venture, we distribute the terminals for most financial institutions and also develop related applications like debit, credit and loyalty applications. Besides banking application, we are developing some applications like Gift Card and Loyalty application for retail customers.

 

Under the group we have another organisation, Chip Card Sdn Bhd is the arm of VeriCardSys that manufactures cards. We produce all kinds of plastic cards including banking cards and smart cards that conform to ISO standards. The cards are produced in a secure and clean environment and quality control is maintained throughout the production process. We are able to deliver a wide range of quantities within a short delivery time.

 

 

CardSys Sdn Bhd was established in 1996 to provide total card solutions, card-based related software, Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and Loyalty Program Management. CardSys is an MSC status company that is pushing the frontiers of smart card usage in the country and the region. But CardSys was dormant in operations until 2002 and became again active from 2002.
