Job Description:
We are seeking a qualified Boiler Man Grade II to operate and maintain steam boilers to ensure safe and efficient operations.

Responsibilities:

Checks and verifies boilers’ operating conditions when taking over the shift.

Carries out hourly data recording and boiler’s up-keeping to ensure safe operation of Steam Boilers in accordance with the Acts and Regulations.

Makes daily reports in log book.

Carries out preventive maintenance and cleaning works for boilers prior to annual inspection by DOSH Officer.

Implements action plans to ensure that the Quality, Environmental, Food Safety, Occupational Safety and Health Objectives, Targets and Programs are achievable;

Implements the risks control action plans within the section.

Implements, observes and monitors Hazard Control Plan, Product Defense Plan, Product Fraud Mitigation Plan, PRP and OPRPs.

Communicates with external providers for services in relation to the identified food safety hazards that need to be controlled as well as the compliance obligations, statutory and regulatory.

Monitors and maintains the PBA water supply, daily consumption and Boiler and Cooling System water treatment programs inclusive of its required chemical stock.

Monitors, maintains and takes charge of the operation of Wastewater Treatment plant, discharge of Industrial Effluent and disposal of sludge.

Ensure that the TPM Programs are being implemented smoothly in Boiler Section.

Participates in cost saving, water, energy, resource conservation, 5R or other environmental program or projects as proactive actions to mitigate the risks of adverse effects that may arise thereof on human, environment, climate change, carbon footprint, sustainable development etc.

Takes action to reduce the consequences of the emergency situation, appropriate to the magnitude of the emergency or incident and the potential food safety impact, and at the same time, to mitigate its adverse effects on human, environment, climate change, carbon footprint, sustainable development etc.

Provides On Job Training to boiler mate.

Carries out other works as instructed by immediate superior and those with vested authority. Authorities:

(1) Minimum education:

 Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia with (i) Grade ll boilerman certificate, and (ii) at least 2 years related working experience in handling boilers.
