Repurposing salvaged trees isn’t merely recycling. It is a touch of Art. It takes the brilliance of the mind and the wonders of Mother Nature to blend in the right chemistry to create functional furniture masterpieces. This defines Art of Tree.

With forest diminishing fast and the effects of global warming becoming increasing evident, we can no longer turn a blind eye on what is happening around us.

 

As mankind, it is perhaps inevitable that the element of wood is to be used as an integral part of furnishing. However, it remains a conscious decision on our part on the choice of the source and type of wood we use. We at Art of Tree procure our wood mainly from salvaged trees in the cities around Peninsula Malaysia. Fallen trees, trees marked for removal for development, fallen dead trees in the forest, slabs/blocks that have cavities/rot have all been summed up as materials for the making of our functional art pieces.
