I served as a Human Resources Officer for approximately one year, reporting to the Human Resource Manager. During my time in this position, I gained valuable experience in prioritizing tasks efficiently, especially when faced with multiple responsibilities. My manager was highly knowledgeable and supportive, as was the management team, including the Plant Director. The workplace culture at Arkema embraced diversity, allowing us to work harmoniously with individuals from various ethnic backgrounds, celebrating festivals such as Hari Raya, Chinese New Year, and Deepavali. The most difficult aspect of the job was having to handle all responsibilities without the assistance of subordinates. However, I found great satisfaction in successfully completing tasks, particularly in ensuring accurate payroll processing and timely salary disbursement to all employees.
