AON Reviews

Executive Assistant

Current Employee, years in the role

"Exciting and engaging position"

Helping the deputy minister with their daily tasks, hosting guests from other ministries and political offices, managing tasks effectively, having a close-knit team, and arranging events for the deputy minister.

"Greatest Workplace Ever!"

Everything is going well at this workplace, from the atmosphere to the coworkers, including the CEO. Colleagues at all levels are friendly and accessible.

"Positive atmosphere"

This is a unique setting compared to what most counselors are accustomed to. While it can be a good place to gain clinical experience due to its global reach, the daily stress and micromanagement can be draining. The company is focused on productivity and profit, being paid per call, with short breaks and constant monitoring. Dealing with crisis calls can be particularly exhausting. The company is large and contracts with other EAPs, essentially acting as their representative. The most satisfying aspect of the job is providing in-the-moment support to clients, but many callers are only interested in their "free counseling sessions." It should be noted that not all calls will involve clinical work, as there may be customer service issues or prank calls. While working here has broadened my clinical knowledge, I am seeking a more flexible and welcoming environment.

"AON Benfield (M) Ltd AON Benfield Malaysia Limited"

The work environment was positive and focused on productivity. I gained valuable experience in coordinating recoveries and disbursements to cedants and reinsurers. The management operated as a shared service within the group, and my colleagues were cooperative and supportive. The most challenging aspect of the job was managing a large number of cedants and reinsurers within a tight timeframe of two weeks. However, the job was enjoyable due to the camaraderie among staff and the flexibility of being able to work from home with our own laptops.

Admin Support (Finance Dept)

Ex-Employee, years in the role

"Enjoyable and laidback work environment."

The positive atmosphere at work is due to friendly and appreciative colleagues. The office is conveniently located near public transportation and restaurants. Although work can be busy at times, it is still manageable.
