History

AEROCOM was founded in 1985 by an engineer previously working for the Italian Air Registry (ENAC). Initially, the main activities were to provide services for the management of data related to aircraft maintenance and organizational advice for airlines. After a few years, the company started the development of a software system to be supplied to airlines and maintenance stations for the technical and operational management of the fleets. The system gradually evolved, eventually becoming the reference standard of Italian companies; it is now used by 80% of the regional and charter airlines in Italy.
