Position Overview
Handles warehouse operations and technical support for oil and gas equipment trading, ensuring efficient inventory management, safe handling of specialized gear, and in-house maintenance to support trading activities.
Core Warehouse Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, and store incoming oil and gas equipment, parts, and materials, verifying quantities, condition, and compliance with safety standards like hazardous material protocols.
- Manage inventory through picking, packing, loading/unloading containers, and conducting regular stock checks/cycle counts using warehouse systems.
- Maintain warehouse organization, cleanliness, and safety, including housekeeping, labeling, and operating equipment like forklifts or pallet jacks.
Technical Support Duties
- Perform in-house inspections, basic repairs, and troubleshooting on oil and gas equipment such as valves, pumps, pipes, and tools, escalating complex issues.
- Respond to internal technical queries, support equipment testing/setup for trading demos, and document maintenance logs or defect reports.
- Assist with procurement by identifying technical specs for parts orders and coordinating shipments.
Reporting and Admin Tasks
- Update inventory records, generate stock reports, and prepare shipment documentation including packing lists.
- Support ad-hoc duties like equipment calibration checks or returns processing as needed for trading operations.
