Staek was founded in Penang, Malaysia in 2003. Its principal and founder – Keat Song comes from a family that has long established itself within the photography industry in Post-Colonial Malaysia for nearly 29 years since 1992. Naturally as life unfolds for Keat Song coupled with his own increasing interest and enthusiasm, staek photography was founded and continues to grow today. 

Driven by passion and a streak of perfectionism, every photograph is a project on its own, taking form and life through the eyes of those who looks through the lens. Not only is quality and dedication apparent in every piece of our work, each frame reflects a story or a moment captured forever in time, exuding the unique ‘staek touch’.
