• Managing on site project team, man powers and ensure complete tasks on time and safely to required standards.
• Supervising, coordinating, monitoring and inspecting in all mechanical related works to ensure mechanical /piping systems are installed and tested, according to the design specification, standards and quality objectives.
• Ensure that all sites activities are carried out according to reference documentation for parts of the plant within area of responsibility.
• Ensure that material and equipment are correctly received, stored, preserved and handled, identified and traceable.
• Preparing all necessary documentation and ensure all documentation being compiled as job-packs for final handover to the Client.
1. To assist Resident Engineer to lead the C&S team and supervise all C&S activities of project and ensure compliance to all plans and specifications
2. Identify all discrepancies in plans and ensure optimal productivity of construction personnel
3. Facilitates and advises the Contractor on site issues for timely completion of works
4. Attend meetings and liaise with Authorities for approvals, if any
5. To be responsible for the day-to-day administration and management of structural matters including reviews of contractor’s design and working drawing
6. Report directly with management and ensure that work in progress is accordance with good engineering practice
7. To attend to all technical site meeting with Client/Contractor
REQUIREMENTS
1. Candidates must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil & Structural Engineering or equivalent.
2. Minimum 7 years of working experience in the related field is required for this position preferably related to site working experience (slope / roads / bridges).
3. Good communication and interpersonal skills
4. Positive attitude, highly initiative and able to work independently with minimum supervision
5. Possess ability to work under pressure, tight schedules and in stringent environment
