Retail and wholesale trade supervisor, plan, organize, coordinate and control the operations of establishments that sell goods on a retail or wholesale basis. They are responsible for the budgets, staffing and strategic and operational direction of shops, or of organizational units within shops that sell particular types of product.
Tasks include –
Determining product mix, stock levels and service standards;
Formulating and implementing purchasing and marketing policies, and setting prices;
Promoting and advertising the establishment’s goods and services;
Maintaining records of stock levels and financial transactions;
Undertaking budgeting for the establishment;
Controlling selection, training and supervision of staff;
Ensuring compliance with occupational health and safety regulations.
Ensure that a professional standard of Customer Care, Merchandising and Display, Stock Control and Administration is developed and maintained so that Sales Targets are achieved.
Ensure that subordinates are effectively supervised and well-trained to carry out their responsibilities and tasks.
Ensures effective and economic use of staff in retail Operations Department to achieve its objectives.
Promotes Professionalism of Staff in Retail Operations Department.
Undertakes other tasks as required by Superiors.
Identifies and trains staff with good potential for development.
Develops and maintains administrative procedures and methods of the shops and the Department in accordance with the Company’s Standard Operating Procedures.
Maintains Communications links with staff in retail Operations Department and other Departments within the Company.

1. Adhere and comply with HSE rules and regulations, quality and energy management by carrying out safety observations, analysis and improvement/proposal to achieve ZERO LTI.
2. Quality, Environmental and Safety management system conforms to the requirement of international standard and comply with CIMA Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) regulation.
3. To update day to day HR and Admin activities and organizing day to day administrative works
4. To assist all matters related to recruitment and training as well as to update records and processes all documents/personal files for normal business purposes.
5. To collect, analyze and interpret data to ensure proper writing reports and documentation
6. To assist in the preparation development of departmental HSE.
7. Preparation of department standard operating procedure and set up the training module.
8. Implement 5s practices and good housekeeping at the storage and work area to improve CIMA’s productivity together with the quality of products.
9. Any other responsibilities that may be assigned by the Head of Department and Manager from time to time.
Factory hands assist machine operators and product assemblers. They clean the machines and the working areas. Factory hands make sure supplies and materials are replenished.
