Customer Requirement & Design Development: Communicate with customers and project stakeholders to understand application needs, specifications, constraints and expected outcomes. Translate requirements into design concepts and practical engineering solutions.
Mechanical Design & CAD Modelling: Create and revise 3D models, assemblies and 2D engineering drawings using SolidWorks and other CAD tools as required. Design components and systems with consideration for functionality, manufacturability, assembly, maintainability, material selection and cost-effectiveness.
BOM Management & Engineering Change Control: Prepare, monitor, maintain and update Bills of Materials (BOMs) to ensure part numbers, descriptions, quantities, materials and revisions are accurate. Coordinate design or component changes with purchasing, project, production and other relevant teams.
