1. Job Scope / Responsibilities
Prepare tender submissions, including Bills of Quantities (BQ), cost estimates, and pricing documents.
- Perform quantity take-off and measurement from drawings and specifications.
- Source and obtain quotations from subcontractors and suppliers.
- Evaluate, compare, and analyze quotations to ensure competitiveness and compliance with project requirements.
- Prepare cost comparison reports and tender recommendations.
- Liaise with consultants, suppliers, subcontractors, and internal project teams during the tendering process.
- Review tender documents, drawings, specifications, and contractual requirements.
- Assist in budget preparation, cost planning, and value engineering exercises.
- Maintain tender records and update cost databases.
- Support post-tender negotiations and clarifications when required.

2. Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Building, or related discipline.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in quantity surveying and tendering.
- Experience in preparing tender BQs, quantity take-off, calling quotations, and quotation analysis.
- Familiar with construction drawings, specifications, and measurement standards.
- Good knowledge of construction materials, subcontract trades, and market rates.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and quantity surveying software.
- Able to work independently and meet tender submission deadlines.
- Good communication, negotiation, and analytical skills.

3. Preferred Qualifications / Experience
- Experience in building construction projects, particularly Reinforced Concrete (RC) works.
- Familiar with substructure and superstructure works including piling, pile caps, foundations, columns, beams, slabs, and related RC elements.
- Experience working with main contractors or established subcontractors.
- Knowledge of contract administration and variation order (VO) evaluation is an advantage.
- Familiarity with local authority requirements, CIDB regulations, and industry practices.
- Experience handling multiple tenders simultaneously.

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM5,000.00 per month
