Apprentice Technician – Air Conditioning & Electrical

We are looking for motivated individuals who are interested in learning air-conditioning, electrical and appliance service work.

Fresh school leavers and candidates with no experience are welcome. Training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Assist technicians with air-conditioner installation, servicing and repair.
• Assist with electrical wiring, lighting and socket installation.
• Carry tools, equipment and materials to job sites.
• Help with troubleshooting and basic maintenance work.
• Keep tools and work areas clean and organised.
• Learn proper installation, repair and safety procedures.
• Follow instructions from senior technicians.

Requirements

• No experience required.
• Willing to learn technical skills.
• Responsible, hardworking and punctual.
• Able to work as part of a team.
• Comfortable with outdoor and on-site work.
• Basic knowledge of electrical or air-conditioning work is an advantage.
• GDL/driving licence is an advantage but not compulsory.

Junior Air Conditioning & Electrical Technician

We are looking for a Junior Technician to join our growing technical team.

The candidate will handle basic air-conditioning, electrical and appliance installation/service work while continuing to develop technical and troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform residential air-conditioner servicing and installation.
• Assist with troubleshooting and repair work.
• Perform basic electrical wiring, lighting and socket installation.
• Check equipment condition before and after installation.
• Assist senior technicians on larger residential and light-commercial projects.
• Maintain tools, equipment and company vehicles properly.
• Complete assigned jobs safely and professionally.
• Communicate politely with customers during site visits.

Requirements

• Basic experience in air-conditioning, refrigeration or electrical work preferred.
• Fresh graduates from vocational/technical courses are encouraged to apply.
• Able to use basic hand tools and electrical testing equipment.
• Willing to learn troubleshooting and repair techniques.
• Responsible, punctual and able to work independently when required.
• Driving licence is an advantage.
• Experience with air-conditioner installation/service is an advantage.

Senior Air Conditioning & Electrical Technician

We are looking for an experienced Senior Technician to join and support our growing technical team.

The ideal candidate should be able to handle air-conditioning installation, servicing, troubleshooting and basic electrical work independently, as well as guide junior technicians and apprentices.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair air-conditioning system faults.
• Perform installation, servicing and maintenance of residential and light-commercial air-conditioning systems.
• Handle refrigerant charging, vacuuming, pressure testing and leak checking.
• Troubleshoot electrical and control-related problems.
• Perform basic electrical wiring for air-conditioning, lighting and sockets.
• Lead and supervise junior technicians and apprentices.
• Plan materials and tools required before attending job sites.
• Ensure installation and repair work meets company standards.
• Explain technical problems and recommended solutions clearly to customers.
• Maintain proper usage and care of company tools and equipment.
• Ensure jobs are completed safely, efficiently and professionally.

Requirements

• Relevant experience in air-conditioning, refrigeration or electrical work.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work independently.
• Familiar with air-conditioner installation and refrigerant systems.
• Able to use manifold gauges, vacuum pumps, multimeters and other common technical tools.
• Good attitude, responsibility and teamwork.
• Able to guide junior staff.
• Valid driving licence preferred.
• Experience with cassette, ceiling exposed or light-commercial air-conditioning systems is an advantage.
