WE’RE HIRING: BEHAVIOUR THERAPIST

Location: Butterfly Behavioural Therapy Centre, Sunway Semenyih, Selangor

Do you enjoy working with children and want to make a meaningful difference in their lives?

Butterfly Behavioural Therapy Centre is looking for a compassionate, energetic, and dedicated Behaviour Therapist to join our growing team. You will provide one-to-one and small-group intervention to children with autism and other developmental needs under professional guidance and supervision.

Training will be provided, so fresh graduates who are passionate about working with children are encouraged to apply.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Conduct one-to-one and small-group therapy sessions based on each child’s individualised intervention plan
• Teach communication, social, play, learning, self-help, and daily living skills
• Apply evidence-based behavioural teaching strategies during therapy sessions
• Collect accurate data and prepare therapy session notes and progress records
• Create engaging and developmentally appropriate learning activities
• Assist in monitoring each child’s progress and implementing programme updates
• Work collaboratively with supervisors, therapists, teachers, and families
• Participate in team meetings, training and professional development
• Maintain a safe, positive, organised, and child-friendly therapy environment
• Communicate professionally and respectfully with children, parents, and colleagues

REQUIREMENTS

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, Early Childhood Education, Special Needs Education, Education, Counselling, Behaviour Analysis or another relevant field
• Passionate about supporting children with autism and developmental needs
• Patient, caring, responsible, and willing to learn
• Cheerful, energetic, creative, and able to work well within a team
• Good spoken and written communication skills in English
• Ability to communicate in Mandarin or English would be an advantage
• Able to follow intervention plans, accept feedback, and maintain accurate records
• Relevant experience working with children or individuals with special needs is an advantage but not compulsory
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply
• Having your own transport is preferred
