Job Summary

We are looking for a certified Chargeman to take responsibility for the safe operation, maintenance, and compliance of our electrical installations and equipment at our Sungai Buloh and/or Rawang factory sites. This is a hands-on, high-responsibility role suited to someone who takes ownership of plant safety and reliability, and who is comfortable being the point person for statutory electrical compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Take charge of the operation and maintenance of electrical installations in accordance with the Electricity Supply Act and relevant Energy Commission (Suruhanjaya Tenaga) regulations
• Conduct regular inspections, testing, and preventive maintenance of electrical systems, switchgear, and machinery
• Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical faults, coordinating timely repairs to minimise production downtime
• Maintain accurate maintenance logs, inspection records, and statutory documentation
• Ensure electrical work complies with occupational safety and health requirements
• Liaise with the Energy Commission, contractors, and relevant authorities as required
• Support the factory's safety culture and report hazards or non-conformances promptly
• Work with production and engineering teams to plan maintenance shutdowns with minimal disruption

Required Skills & Certifications

• Valid Chargeman certificate issued by the Energy Commission (Suruhanjaya Tenaga) — A3-A4 Certificates
• Sound working knowledge of electrical safety regulations and standards
• Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting ability
• Ability to read electrical schematics and technical drawings
• Good record-keeping and reporting discipline
• Ability to work independently and respond to urgent maintenance issues

Preferred Qualifications & Experience

• Diploma or certificate in Electrical Engineering or a related field
• Prior experience in a manufacturing or factory environment
• Familiarity with ISO 9001 quality systems is an advantage
• Experience with industrial machinery or heavy equipment maintenance is a plus

Location & Working Model

• Location: Sungai Buloh, Selangor (factory-based)
• Working model: On-site — this is a hands-on, plant-based role and is not suited to remote or hybrid arrangements
