Job Description

Job Purpose

Plans and prepares all materials required for production, monitors stock levels and places orders to prevent shortages, and verifies that all prepared materials meet the required specifications.

Responsibilities

1. Apply the FIFO system for all chemicals and materials used in production.

2. Prepare sufficient chemicals and materials for production, preserving them from contamination and preventing mix-ups.

3. Follow written work instructions for all material preparation.

4. Liaise with the Laboratory on out-of-spec materials and implement necessary adjustments.

5. Execute corrective and preventive actions for any non-compliance.

6. Enforce good housekeeping, safety requirements, and proper use of tools/equipment among team members.

7. Supervise and guide subordinates through on-the-job training and development programs.

8. Collaborate with the RND team on production trials.

9. Oversee disposal of scheduled waste and implement cost-reduction and preventive maintenance plans.

10. Update the D365 system related to CPD and staging errors, and submit regular reports to the Assistant Manager/Manager.

Qualification and Experience

1. Bachelor Degree in Chemistry, Chemical, Science or equivalent.

2. Fresh graduate or Minimum 1 year of working experience in manufacturing environment.

3. Able to plan, organize and schedule work.
