Sales Assistant – Winter Apparel Retail

Join an Established & Respected Winter Apparel Retailer

We are looking for a friendly, reliable and hardworking Sales Assistant to join our team at our winter apparel and travel products store.

We are an established retail business with a long history, offering quality winter clothing and travel products to customers preparing for cold-weather destinations.

Roles

This is a hands-on retail position for someone who enjoys meeting people, takes pride in keeping a shop well presented, and is willing to learn about winter clothing and help customers make the right choices.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Greeting customers warmly and providing friendly service
• Understanding customers' needs and helping them choose suitable products
• Handling the sales counter and cashier duties
• Folding, arranging and replenishing clothing and stock
• Keeping the shop floor and displays clean, neat and attractive
• Assisting with stockroom organisation and stock checking
• Helping with opening and closing duties
• Working as part of a team to ensure the shop runs smoothly

Training on our products and winter clothing will be provided.

• Well-presented and comfortable dealing with customers
• Positive and willing to learn
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Willing to help with all aspects of running a retail shop
• Comfortable standing, folding clothes and handling stock

Retail experience is an advantage, but not essential.

We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, enjoys helping people and understands that good retail service is about more than simply making a sale.
