Leads the independent Quality function and customer quality interface, covering conformity, complaints, corrective action, audits, QMS and continuous improvement.

Main Responsibilities

• Lead incoming, in-process, final and outgoing QA/QC activities and product release.
• Ensure conformity to customer drawings, specifications, control plans and approved standards.
• Manage QA/QC staff, inspections, gauges/measuring equipment and calibration.
• Own customer quality communication and complaints through containment, 8D, corrective action, verification and closure.
• Lead investigations and cross-functional actions with Production, Engineering, Maintenance, Logistics and suppliers; require containment/rework as needed.
• Monitor PPM, rejection, rework, scrap, complaints and Quality KPIs; drive defect prevention and process capability.
• Conduct product/process/internal audits; coordinate customer/certification audits and close findings.
• Maintain QMS/ISO/customer requirements and support feasibility, APQP/PPAP, PFMEA, Control Plan, SPC and MSA.
• Authority to reject/hold product, stop production/shipment for quality risk and escalate directly to the General Manager.

Requirements

• Malaysian Citizen
• Degree/Diploma in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Quality Engineering or related field.
• Preferably 5+ years' automotive/manufacturing QA/QC; 2+ years in supervision/leadership.
• Strong customer complaint handling and 8D, 5 Why, Fishbone, CAPA/root-cause analysis.
• Good knowledge of APQP, PPAP, PFMEA, Control Plan, SPC, MSA and ISO 9001; IATF 16949 preferred.
• Read drawings, GD&T, specifications and BOM; welding/stamping/tube-forming experience preferred.
• Strong leadership, analysis, problem-solving, report-writing and follow-up skills.
• Good English/Bahasa Malaysia; confident with customers, suppliers and internal teams.

Pay: RM3,500.00 - RM6,000.00 per month
