Job Summary

Supersafe Industries Sdn. Bhd. is looking for a driven, hands-on Junior Production Supervisor to support shift-level operations in rubber tile manufacturing, EPDM granule mixing, and compression molding. This role is ideal for a junior supervisor or experienced lead operator looking to step up in a manufacturing setting.

You will work on the shop floor alongside line operators, ensuring raw material batching accuracy, assisting with machine setups, maintaining quality standards, and enforcing factory safety. You will also participate in operational preparations for our plant relocation to Semenyih in Q*************.

Key Responsibilities

1. Daily Line Operation & Raw Material Preparation

• Assist in monitoring daily production runs for rubber tiles, EPDM mats, and molded rubber products on the factory floor.
• Verify precise weighing and mixing of raw materials (SBR/EPDM granules, pigments, and PU binders) according to mixing formulations.
• Help set up and monitor hydraulic presses, temperature settings, and mold cure times as instructed by senior supervisors.
• Monitor output hourly to meet daily production quotas and keep track of material usage.

2. Shop-Floor Quality Control & ISO Compliance

• Perform visual and dimensional checks (thickness, weight, edge trim, surface finish) on finished tiles before packing.
• Log production data, scrap counts, and batch numbers clearly on physical control sheets for ISO 9001 quality tracking.
• Immediately report off-spec products, curing issues, or material defects to the Senior Supervisor/Manager to prevent batch contamination.

3. Direct Worker Guidance & Safety Enforcement

• Guide and monitor daily tasks for foreign workers and line operators on assigned production lines.
• Conduct daily 5S housekeeping checks to keep work areas, mold racks, and mixing stations clean and organized.
• Enforce factory safety rules, ensuring all operators wear required PPE (gloves, dust masks, safety boots) and handle PU chemicals safely.

4. Machine Upkeep & Basic Troubleshooting

• Assist with basic machine cleaning, mold changing, and routine line maintenance.
• Report hydraulic leaks, unusual machine noise, or electrical faults to the maintenance team promptly to avoid prolonged downtime.

5. Plant Relocation Support (Seri Kembangan to Semenyih - Q*************)

• Assist with physical inventory stocktakes, mold tagging, and equipment packing for the relocation to Semenyih.
• Help set up production line workstations at the new Semenyih facility during commissioning.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Education: SPM, Certificate, or Diploma in Polymer/Rubber Technology, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing, or equivalent experience.
• Experience: 1 to 3 years in a manufacturing plant, preferably involving rubber molding, EPDM/PU processing, plastics, or chemical compounding. High-performing line leaders or line technicians are encouraged to apply.
• Technical Skills: Basic understanding of hydraulic presses, raw material mixing ratios, and basic hand tools.
• Working Style: Willing to be hands-on on the factory floor, physical stamina, and comfortable working in a non-airconditioned manufacturing environment.
• Languages: Good spoken Bahasa Malaysia and basic English to communicate effectively with foreign operators and management.
• Mobility: Must have own transport and be fully committed to working in Seri Kembangan and relocating to Semenyih in Q*************. Willingness to work shifts if required.

Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM2,800.00 per month
