About the Role

As an RTR (Record-to-Report) Intern, you will gain hands-on exposure to financial accounting, month-end closing activities, financial reporting, audit support, and finance operations within a regional Shared Services environment. This internship offers a great opportunity to develop practical accounting skills, work with experienced finance professionals, and gain exposure to SAP and global finance processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Month-End Closing Support: Assist in period-end closing activities, including transaction postings, recurring journal entries, and bank reconciliations.
• Financial Reporting: Support the preparation of monthly financial statements, management reports, and reporting packages.
• Audit Coordination: Assist in preparing supporting schedules and documentation for internal and external audits.
• Data Validation & Compliance: Help ensure financial records are accurate, complete, and compliant with corporate policies and accounting standards.
• Vendor Master Data Support: Assist with validation and maintenance of vendor master data to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
• Finance Operations: Support various accounting and finance-related activities, including reconciliations, reporting, and process improvement initiatives.
• Administrative Support: Assist the Finance team with ad hoc projects and operational tasks as required.

What We're Looking For

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related discipline.
• Strong interest in accounting, financial reporting, and finance operations.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Microsoft Excel.
• Good command of written and spoken English.
• Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.
• Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Able to multitask and manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Proactive, eager to learn, and able to work effectively in a team.

Pay: RM900.00 - RM1,000.00 per month
