About the role

We are seeking an experienced and responsible Site Manager to oversee and manage construction site operations for our property development projects. The successful candidate will ensure works are carried out safely, according to approved drawings and specifications, and within the required quality, cost and project schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and oversee daily construction activities at the project site

• Plan, coordinate and monitor site progress to ensure the project meets the approved schedule

• Supervise subcontractors, site supervisors, workers and suppliers

• Coordinate closely with consultants, architects, engineers, contractors and the project management team

• Ensure construction works are carried out according to approved drawings, specifications and method statements

• Monitor workmanship and ensure required quality standards are achieved

• Conduct regular site inspections and identify construction issues, defects and potential delays

• Coordinate material deliveries, manpower, machinery and other site resources

• Monitor project progress and prepare regular site progress reports

• Ensure proper implementation of site safety, health and environmental requirements

About you

• Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Building, Quantity Surveying or a related field

• Minimum 5 years of relevant construction site experience, preferably with a property developer or main contractor

• Proven experience managing building construction projects from start to completion

• Strong knowledge of construction methods, drawings, specifications and site coordination

• Good understanding of construction quality, safety requirements and statutory compliance

• Strong leadership and problem-solving skills

• Able to manage subcontractors and coordinate multiple parties effectively

• Good communication and interpersonal skills

• Computer literate with good knowledge of Microsoft Office

• Able to read and interpret construction drawings and technical documents
