Process and verify staff claims, ensuring supporting documents are complete and in compliance with company policies.
Perform daily bank reconciliations and ensure transactions are accurately recorded in the accounting system.
Assist with month-end closing activities, including preparation of journal entries and reconciliation of accounts.
Maintain and update financial records and supporting documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
Assist in accounts payable and other day-to-day finance operations as required.
Follow up on outstanding transactions and discrepancies to ensure timely resolution.
Support the preparation of routine financial reports and schedules for management review.
Liaise with internal departments to clarify financial transactions and resolve payment or claim-related matters.
Assist with audit requests and provide relevant supporting documents when required.
Perform other ad-hoc finance and accounting duties as assigned.
Job Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
2–3 years of relevant experience in finance or accounting, preferably with experience in accounts payable, staff claims, bank reconciliation, and month-end closing.
Experience supporting multiple entities or regional finance operations is an added advantage.
Good understanding of basic accounting principles and financial processes.
Familiarity with accounting systems and Microsoft Excel; experience with ERP systems is an added advantage.
Good attention to detail with a high level of accuracy in handling financial transactions and documentation.
Good organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage routine tasks and meet month-end deadlines.
Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to coordinate with finance teams and stakeholders across different countries.
Able to work independently while also working effectively as part of a regional finance team.
Proactive in following up on outstanding items and resolving discrepancies in a timely manner.
Able to handle confidential financial information with professionalism and integrity.
Willingness to learn and adapt to different finance processes and requirements across regional entities.
