Universal Robina Munchy's (URM), part of Universal Robina Corporation (URC), is looking for an:

Position Title: Intern - Demand and Supply Planning

Employment Type: Internship

The Intern is responsible to support the Demand and Supply Planning team in forecasting, inventory monitoring, stock deployment and data reporting to ensure product availability, maintain healthy inventory levels and improve overall supply chain performance.

What are the Job Responsibilities?

• Assist in preparing and updating demand forecasts based on historical sales, promotions, new product launches and market trends.
• Monitor inventory levels, stock availability, ageing and freshness across warehouses.
• Support weekly stock deployment and inter-warehouse transfer planning.
• Track actual sales against forecasts and highlight significant variances or potential supply risks.
• Assist in monitoring out-of-stock situations, case-fill rates and order fulfilment performance.
• Coordinate with Production Planning, Sales, Marketing, Logistics and other stakeholders on stock requirements and supply issues.
• Support the preparation of run-down plans for promotional, discontinued and slow-moving products.
• Maintain demand planning, supply planning and inventory reports, trackers and dashboards.
• Assist in fulfilling export-market stock requirements and monitoring shipment readiness.
• Participate in supply chain improvement projects and provide support for ad hoc analysis.

What are the Key requirements and Qualifications?

• Currently pursuing a Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Statistics, Data Analytics or a related discipline.
• Comfortable working with numbers, data and Microsoft Excel.
• Basic knowledge of demand forecasting, inventory management or supply chain planning would be an advantage.
• Good analytical, organisational and problem-solving skills.
• Detail-oriented, proactive and able to communicate effectively with cross-functional teams.
