Role Description The Design & Site Assistant supports both design and on-site activities to ensure smooth project execution and high-quality outcomes. This full-time, hybrid role is based in Puchong, with some work-from-home flexibility depending on project needs. Day-to-day tasks include assisting with interior and product design concepts, preparing drawings and visualizations, coordinating with the design team on materials and finishes, and updating project documentation. The role also involves visiting client sites, supporting measurements and installations, liaising with customers and suppliers, and ensuring that design specifications are accurately implemented. The Design & Site Assistant contributes to maintaining strong client relationships through clear communication and responsive support.
Qualifications
- Strong communication skills, including the ability to coordinate with internal teams, suppliers, and clients in a clear and professional manner.
- Customer service skills to handle inquiries, support site visits, and help manage client expectations and feedback.
- Interior design knowledge, with an understanding of spatial planning, materials, finishes, and basic design principles.
- Proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools to assist with technical drawings, layouts, and design adjustments.
- Graphic design skills to create visual presentations, mood boards, and design proposals that effectively convey concepts.
- Ability to travel to project sites in and around Puchong as needed, and to work in a hybrid office/home arrangement.
- Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Relevant diploma or degree in interior design, architecture, graphic design, or a related field is preferred; equivalent experience will be considered.
