About the Role

We are looking for a MES Requirements Engineer to support manufacturing plant software implementation and to ensure end-to-end software application aligned with business workflows. Reports to Department Lead with this position based at Serendah, Selangor.

Key Responsibilities

1. Daily operation and maintenance of production-related systems, covering modules for upstream and downstream processes, document management systems, equipment, quality and more. Ensure 24/7 system stability, timely troubleshooting and response to user inquiries.
2. Liaise with business departments to collect and consolidate requirements in the production domain. Propose solutions on appropriate platforms, and lead the full lifecycle of requirements and tasks including creation, review, testing, release and subsequent maintenance.
3. Develop operation manuals for production-related systems and provide training to key users.
4. Build system capabilities for new processes and new platforms, including system design, verification, pull-line network, server-related design, deliver planning documents and follow up implementation.
5. Conduct regular backend system checks, plan data archiving, and coordinate overall planning for new factories and new sites.

Requirements

1. Bachelor’s degree or above in Computer-related disciplines; CET-4. Candidates with extensive working experience and strong competencies may be considered with a college diploma.
2. At least 3 years of experience in operation and maintenance of large-scale production systems, OR at least 1 year of system design experience.
3. Proficient in SQL CRUD operations and basic table design. Familiar with C# programming. Candidates with strong business knowledge and programming skills are preferred.
4. Skilled in using design tools such as Axure.
5. Strong hands-on experience in software and system setup.
