Lead, manage, and plan export, import and logistics operations for local delivery, export, and import across all function.
Liaise with store/warehouse on the container movement.
To coordinate all export/import activities including liaise with bank on letter of credit and others relevant documents liaise with MICC, FMM and embassies on trade documentation that is required by respective countries.
Coordinate with forwarders, shipping agencies, customs, customers, and relevant departments for import and export shipments.
To comply with the requirements of the Management System implemented in the organisation (HACCP, ISO 14001, BRC-IoP Packaging and FSC Chain of Custody).
Stay updated with the latest changes in shipping regulations and implement necessary changes in procedures.
Conduct regular audits of shipping practices and documentation to ensure adherence to company policies.
Ensure on-time, secure, and efficient delivery of goods to customers.
To perform any other duties as assigned by the superior.
Job Requirements:
Diploma or Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field OR;
Minimum 5–8 years of experience in logistics, import & export, or supply chain operations, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
Hands-on experience in handling import and export documentation, customs clearance, shipping arrangements, and freight forwarding.
Good knowledge of international trade regulations, Incoterms, customs procedures, and shipping documentation.
Able to speak, read, and write Mandarin to communicate effectively with Mandarin-speaking customers, suppliers, and business partners.
