Position : Project Manager
Location: Bandar Kinrara, Puchong, Selangor
Responsibilities:
- Communicating with upper management to develop strategic program and project goals.
- Maintaining and monitoring projects plans, project schedules, work hours, budget and expenditures.
- Organizing, attending and participating in Client’s / Consultants Meeting, Trade Contractors Meeting and Internal Review Meetings.
- Documenting and following up on important actions and decisions from meetings.
- Preparing necessary presentation materials for meetings.
- Ensuring project deadline are meet.
- Determining project changes.
- Providing administrative support as needed.
- Undertaking project tasks as required.
- Developing project strategies.
- Ensuring projects adhere to frameworks and all documentation is maintained appropriately for each project.
- Assess project risks and issues and provide solutions where applicable.
- Ensure stakeholder views are managed towards the best solution.
- Chair and facilitate meetings where appropriate and distribute minutes to all project team members.
- Create a project management work program for fulfilling each goal and objective.
- Take design brief from client
- Issue construction drawings
- Issue as built drawings
- To involve in submission for local authority process
Requirements:
- Diploma or Degree in Architecture, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
- 2–5 years of relevant experience in project coordination, construction, architecture, engineering, or consultancy is preferred.
- Experience in coordinating with clients, consultants, contractors, and internal project teams.
- Familiar with project planning, scheduling, progress monitoring, and project documentation.
- Able to prepare and maintain project schedules, work programmes, meeting minutes, reports, and other project documentation.
- Good understanding of the design and construction process, from design brief through to construction and completion.
- Experience in preparing, coordinating, and issuing construction drawings and as-built drawings.
- Exposure to local authority submissions and approval processes will be an added advantage.
- Able to attend and coordinate client, consultant, contractor, and internal meetings and follow up on agreed actions.
- Strong organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and project deadlines.
- Good problem-solving and decision-making skills, particularly in identifying project risks, issues, and possible solutions.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to coordinate different stakeholders professionally.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and relevant project management/documentation software.
- Knowledge of AutoCAD / relevant drawing software is an advantage.
- Able to work independently, take initiative, and work effectively under pressure.
- Willing to travel to project sites, client/consultant meetings, and authority offices when required.
Remuneration packages:
Basic: RM5000 to RM7500 (Got commission range about RM 18k per year.
EPF, SOCSO, EIS
Benefit: monthly bonding event, yearly oversea trip
Allowance: RM500 for phone and petrol
Working Days: Monday to Friday (If need to rush for tender deadline, may work from home on weekend, as long as submission is on time)
Working Hours: 9 am to 6 pm
Pay: Up to RM7,500.00 per month
