Job Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented and responsible Account Assistant to join our Finance Department. The successful candidate will assist with daily accounting operations, documentation, reconciliations and administrative tasks.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare daily payment vouchers and ensure all supporting documents are complete.
• Key in payment vouchers and accounting transactions accurately into the UBS Accounting System.
• Prepare and submit e-Invoices through the LHDN MyInvois Portal.
• Perform proper filing and documentation of payment vouchers, fixed assets records, Delivery Orders (DOs), utility bills and other accounting documents.
• Perform monthly bank reconciliations and investigate any discrepancies.
• Reconcile debtor and creditor balances regularly.
• Assist with daily accounting and administrative tasks within the Finance Department.
• Perform any other accounting-related duties as assigned by the superior.

Requirements

• Diploma/Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Previous experience in an accounting role is an added advantage.
• Familiarity with UBS Accounting System will be an advantage.
• Basic knowledge of e-Invoicing and LHDN MyInvois Portal is preferred.
• Good attention to detail with strong organisational and documentation skills.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication skills and a positive working attitude.
• Fresh graduates with relevant qualifications are encouraged to apply.
